Since childhood I’ve held a deep passion for art, music and literature. I have pursued these endevours both professionally and for my own interests. I created this website in an effort to chronicle some of my work and thoughts, and share them with my friends, family and the general public.

Music.

My musical journey started when I was a child. My father was a church pastor and my parents were both active in the church’s music program and choir. I wasn’t initially a fan of traditional hymns or gospel music, but I developed a sense of music and an appreciation for rythmn and melody. I was keenly impressed by the traveling bands that would come to put on special performances. I especially liked the bands that featured drums and electric guitar.

Over the years I’ve sang and played guitar both solo and with several bands. I’ve performed in many of the top venues across east coast, and during my time in New York was active in Greenwich Village’s folk music scene. Currently I continue to play music, write new songs and record.

Writing.

Along with music I have always had a passion for writing. I have written short stories, essays, poetry, screenplays and other works–several of which were published. It is my intention to digg through several boxes of old notebooks worth of work and publish some of those pieces on this website.

What else to say? I’m not wildly rich or famous because of my musical or literary endevours. However if you come across this page (for whatever reason) hopefully you have a better understanding of who I am.
